NDC Leaders Mobilize Ebonyi Support for Peter Obi
Nigeria Democratic Congress leaders pledged to mobilize voters and protect ballots for presidential candidate Peter Obi during a town hall meeting in Abakaliki.
Former Ebonyi State Governor Sam Egwu and Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) senatorial candidates Bernard Odoh and Linus Okorie pledged to mobilize massive support for presidential candidate Peter Obi during a town hall meeting in Abakaliki. The leaders vowed to monitor the 2027 general election process and protect Obi's votes to ensure the mandate is respected.
In a separate development, Senator Victor Umeh claimed that Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo lacks the political appeal to rival Obi within Anambra State or nationally. Umeh argued that Soludo's decision to support President Bola Tinubu would not diminish Obi's popularity or alter voting intentions in the South-East, citing Obi's dominant performance in the 2023 elections.
