Israeli Forces Kill Teenager During West Bank Raids
Israeli forces killed a 14-year-old Palestinian boy and launched a manhunt for a stabbing suspect during multiple military operations across the West Bank.
The Military of Israel killed 14-year-old Islam Ahmad Ajjouri during a raid on the Askar refugee camp east of Nablus on Sunday. The teenager was shot in the chest and died after receiving initial treatment at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society Specialized Hospital in Hebron.
In a separate incident Sunday morning, an Israeli man in his 20s was moderately wounded in a stabbing attack at a commercial complex near the Palestinian village of Al-Auja in the Jordan Valley. Magen David Adom treated the victim for an upper-body wound before evacuating him to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem. Hamas claimed the attack was a response to Israeli military operations in the West Bank and violations at the Al-Aqsa Mosque complex.
Following the stabbing, the military and Israeli police launched a large-scale manhunt, establishing roadblocks around Al-Auja to locate the suspect who fled the scene. Simultaneously, Israeli forces blocked the western entrance of al-Mughayyir village north of Ramallah, where they used gas bombs and conducted field interrogations of residents.
