Apple Inc. released the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max on September 18, 2026, introducing a new schedule for out-of-warranty repair costs. The company increased the price of battery replacements to $129, representing a $10 increase over the previous iPhone 17 Pro models. Apple attributed this price hike to a new design and increased battery capacity, noting that the Pro Max battery is 11% larger than the previous generation.

Other repair costs remain largely consistent with previous models. Back glass repairs are priced at $159, while rear camera fixes cost $249. Screen repairs are model-dependent, costing $329 for the iPhone 18 Pro and $379 for the Pro Max. For users requiring both screen and back glass repairs, costs range from $419 to $469.

The most expensive service category is listed as other damage, which can cost up to $849 for the Pro and $899 for the Pro Max.
