Disney and Verizon Raise Streaming Bundle and ESPN Prices

The Walt Disney Company and Verizon Communications Inc. are raising monthly prices for streaming bundles featuring Disney Plus, Hulu, and ESPN Plus. The changes take effect on September 17, 2026, as Disney seeks to grow streaming income following an 8% increase in subscription and affiliate fees during the second quarter.

Disney is increasing its base ad-supported bundle from $20 to $22 and its ad-free bundle from $30 to $33. The company is also raising the cost of its legacy pack from $25 to $28 per month. Verizon is adjusting its plan perks in response to these partner rate changes, raising its ad-supported bundle from $10 to $12 and the premium ad-free upgrade from $20 to $23, though its $15 Legacy Disney Bundle remains unchanged.

Standalone ESPN services are also seeing price hikes. The ESPN Unlimited plan, which provides full access to linear networks and over 47,000 live events, will rise to $31.99 per month or $319.99 per year. The ESPN Select tier, offering approximately 32,000 live events without linear network access, will increase to $13.99 per month or $139.99 per year.
