IREN Delivers First AI Cloud Deployment to Microsoft

IREN Limited delivered Horizon 1, the first of four 50MW direct-to-chip liquid cooled AI Cloud deployments, to Microsoft at its campus in Childress, Texas. The delivery fulfills an initial phase of a five-year, $9.7 billion cloud services contract established in November 2025.

Following the delivery, IREN achieved NVIDIA Exemplar Cloud status. This designation followed NVIDIA's testing of the GB300 NVL72 deployment at the Horizon 1 site, validating the company's capacity to support large-scale AI workloads.

IREN plans to deliver the remaining three Horizon deployments later in 2026. The company aims to expand its gross AI Cloud capacity to 480MW within 2026 and reach 1.2GW by 2027.
