Knightscope Debuts Autonomous Security Force at GSX 2026

Knightscope, Inc. debuted its Autonomous Security Force (ASF) during the GSX 2026 Global Security Exchange in Atlanta. The company released a field brief titled Human Capabilities to detail the operational structure of the ASF, which combines autonomous machines and AI software with a dedicated internal team of licensed agents and analysts.

The ASF model is designed to remove reliance on third-party vendors by employing a centralized human layer. This workforce is split between client-facing roles, including armed and unarmed security agents, and Mission Operations, which consists of service technicians and intelligence analysts.

CEO William Santana Li explained that the system assigns monotony to machines while reserving judgment, de-escalation, and response for human personnel. To ensure accountability for security outcomes, Li noted that all personnel are internal employees who hold equity in the company.
