Toyota Motor Philippines Targets Three Million Cumulative Vehicle Sales
Toyota Motor Philippines expects to reach three million cumulative vehicle sales this year by increasing supply for high-demand models amid a recovering market.
Toyota Motor Philippines Corp. expects to reach a cumulative sales milestone of three million vehicles this year. The company currently leads overall vehicle sales in the Philippines, which serves as its 10th largest market globally and third largest in Southeast Asia.
President Masando Hashimoto stated that the company is rebuilding sales momentum despite geopolitical headwinds and volatile oil prices. To support this growth, the company intends to increase the supply of high-demand models to meet improving market demand.
Local operations are centered at a manufacturing plant in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, which employs over 4,500 people. This facility produces the Vios and Innova, as well as the revived Tamaraw.
