Breeze Airways Adds Nonstop Routes to Myrtle Beach and Buffalo
Breeze Airways is expanding its network with new nonstop flights connecting Myrtle Beach to Portland and Albany, and Charleston to Buffalo, starting in May 2027.
Breeze Airways is expanding its domestic network with several new nonstop routes scheduled for 2027, focusing heavily on South Carolina destinations. Starting May 28, 2027, the airline will launch twice-weekly service from Albany International Airport to Myrtle Beach, featuring a BreezeThru connection to Orlando International Airport. In May 2027, the carrier will also introduce nonstop flights between Portland International Jetport and Myrtle Beach, upgrading a route that previously required a stop.
Additionally, the airline will begin year-round nonstop service between Charleston, South Carolina, and Buffalo, New York, on July 2, 2027. These flights will operate on Mondays and Fridays with fares starting at $69. This route marks the 30th nonstop destination from Charleston International Airport, where the carrier now serves 34 markets.
To support this growth, the airline is transitioning to larger 137-seat Airbus A220 aircraft, adding over 100,000 seats this year for a total of 638,000. The expansion in Myrtle Beach specifically aims to fill the market gap left by the departure of Spirit Airlines. This strategic push follows a period earlier in the year when the airline temporarily suspended several flights, including a route from Albany to Fort Myers.
