Karnataka Completes Hearings for 4.3 Million Electoral Notices
The Chief Electoral Officer of Karnataka finished hearings for 4.38 million electoral notices ahead of the final roll publication on October 27.
The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Karnataka completed hearings for 4,382,824 notices issued to electors as part of the Special Intensive Revision-2026. These notices targeted individuals categorized under anomalies and no mapping during the revision process.
Between June 16 and October 22, the office processed 2,587,461 total applications. These included Form 6 for new enrollments, Form 6A for overseas voters, Form 7 for objections or deletions, and Form 8 for corrections or residence changes. The office confirmed that all Form 7 applications received by September 23 have been cleared.
Following the schedule established by the Election Commission of India, the final electoral roll is scheduled for publication on October 27.
