Aldar Properties PJSC Launches $27.2 Billion Marsa Al Saadiyat Development

Aldar Properties PJSC announced the Marsa Al Saadiyat waterfront project in Abu Dhabi, featuring a $27.2 billion investment to house 58,000 residents.

Aldar Properties PJSC announced the launch of Marsa Al Saadiyat, a mega waterfront development in Abu Dhabi with a total investment of AED 100 billion, or approximately $27.2 billion. The project spans 6.4 million square meters and is designed to accommodate more than 58,000 residents across luxury villas, private mansions, and waterfront apartments.

Originally known as the Saadiyat Marina District, the project was renamed by Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. The development features an 8-kilometer waterfront, a yacht club, two luxury hotels, and a theater district anchored by the Dar al Funoon performing arts venue.

To support the new community, infrastructure plans include new road networks connecting the site to Umm Yifeenah Island and Reem Island, as well as an underground high-speed rail station for Etihad Rail. Infrastructure work is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2026, with home sales expected to follow shortly after.
