Navitas Semiconductor to Acquire Claros for $232.8 Million
Navitas Semiconductor Corp signed a definitive agreement to acquire Claros Inc to integrate vertical power delivery technology for AI data center processors.
Navitas Semiconductor Corp signed a definitive agreement to acquire Claros Inc, a U.S.-based power management company, in a transaction valued at approximately $232.8 million. The deal includes $216 million paid at closing through cash and Class A common stock, with the remaining balance contingent on Claros meeting specific business milestones over the next two years.
Claros specializes in vertical power delivery (VPD) and integrated voltage regulator (IVR) technology. This technology aims to eliminate the power wall—a bottleneck where traditional lateral power delivery limits high-current AI processors (xPUs)—by placing power conversion millimeters from the chip rather than inches. Navitas intends to combine these capabilities with its existing Gallium Nitride (GaN) and Silicon Carbide (SiC) portfolios to create a comprehensive grid-to-xPU power chain for AI infrastructure.
The acquisition is expected to more than double the serviceable addressable market for Navitas by 2030 to over $8 billion, adding at least $3.5 billion from the VPD and IVR sectors. Both companies' boards of directors have unanimously approved the transaction, which is expected to close by the end of 2026 pending regulatory approvals.
