France and Poland Plan Joint Nuclear Strike Exercises
France and Poland are preparing joint military exercises to simulate nuclear strikes against Russia and Belarus as France expands its nuclear umbrella across Europe.
The French Republic and Poland are preparing joint military exercises to simulate conventional and nuclear strikes against Russia and Belarus. According to Polish media, the drills involve Polish F16 jets performing reconnaissance and conventional strikes near St. Petersburg, while French Rafale B fighters simulate nuclear strikes over northern Poland and the Baltic Sea. The exercises aim to establish a military framework outside of NATO bureaucracy to deter Russian aggression and extend France's nuclear umbrella over Europe.
Simultaneously, reports indicate that eight European countries, including Poland and Sweden, intend to host French strategic bombers to align with a new French nuclear doctrine. Russia has condemned these developments, with Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko stating that the decision to deploy nuclear forces on allied territory proves NATO is a "nuclear bloc."
Russia responded by announcing that its military will monitor these deployments and update its list of high-priority targets for potential major conflicts. In other regional developments, UK-led Joint Expedition Forces are reportedly practicing the seizure and blockade of the Kaliningrad exclave, and the Finnish parliament is considering a bill to allow the import and storage of nuclear weapons.
