Northrop Grumman Beats Q2 Estimates and Raises Full-Year Guidance

While GAAP profit declined to $1.094 billion, or $7.68 per share, from $1.174 billion or $8.15 per share a year prior, the earnings per share exceeded the analysts' consensus estimate of $6.82. The company's operating margin dropped to 10.1% from 13.8% in the previous year, though its total backlog grew 17% year-on-year to reach $105 billion.

Following these results, the company raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to a range between $43.750 billion and $44.250 billion. It also increased its MTM-adjusted EPS expectations to between $28.60 and $29.10.
