Karnataka Approves 83 Industrial Projects Worth Rs 6,252 Crore
The State Level Single Window Clearance Committee approved 83 industrial projects to create over 30,000 jobs and promote development outside Bengaluru.
The State Level Single Window Clearance Committee of Karnataka approved 83 industrial projects on August 12, 2026, totaling an investment of Rs 6,252.86 crore. Chaired by Large and Medium Industries Minister MB Patil, the committee expects the initiatives to generate more than 30,054 jobs across sectors including renewable energy, food processing, defense manufacturing, and aerospace.
To advance the Beyond Bengaluru initiative for balanced regional growth, the committee designated 69 of the approved projects for locations outside the Bengaluru Urban and Bengaluru Rural districts. Key approvals include a Rs 475 crore integrated industrial park by JASWIN Ventures Private Limited and a Rs 426 crore aerospace and defense MRO and manufacturing cluster by Axiscades Aerospace Infrastructure Private Limited. Other significant projects include a sugar and ethanol facility by Shrishail Mallikarjun Distillery Private Limited in Vijayapura and a jaggery plant by EID Parry India Limited in Bagalkote.
In a separate development, Minister Patil met with a delegation from Lufthansa Technik. The global aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul provider is currently considering Bengaluru as a site for the expansion of its operations.
