Veea Inc. Regains Full Nasdaq Listing Compliance
Veea Inc. restored its Nasdaq compliance by restructuring its board and committee composition following the death of an independent director.
Veea Inc. regained full compliance with Nasdaq continued listing requirements on October 8, 2026. The company resolved governance deficiencies regarding its board and committee composition that emerged after the death of independent director Douglas Maine.
To restore a majority of independent directors, Helder Antunes resigned from the Board of Directors, although he continues to serve as the company's Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer. As part of the restructuring, Veea appointed Alan Black to the Compensation Committee and Kanishka Roy to the Audit Committee.
These governance changes follow the resolution of a separate minimum bid-price deficiency. Nasdaq closed that matter on September 15, 2026, after Veea's stock price remained at or above $1.00 for 10 consecutive business days following a reverse stock split.
