Tesla Earns $573.4 Million From Sales to xAI and SpaceX
Tesla generated over $573 million in revenue through sales to xAI and SpaceX, including Megapack batteries and Cybertrucks.
Tesla Inc. generated $573.4 million in revenue last year from sales to xAI and SpaceX, according to an amended annual filing. Tesla derived approximately $430.1 million of this income from xAI, which purchases Megapack energy storage batteries. The automaker also recognized $143.3 million in revenue from SpaceX, with reports indicating that SpaceX likely purchased over $100 million worth of Cybertrucks in the fourth quarter of last year.
Financial interdependence between the companies continued into 2026, with Tesla disclosing an additional $78.1 million in revenue from xAI through February. During this period, SpaceX acquired xAI in February and announced plans for a major initial public offering scheduled for late June.
Elon Musk, the owner of all three companies, has further integrated the entities by unveiling plans for a chip production collaboration between Tesla and SpaceX.
