HARTING Joins NVIDIA MGX Ecosystem for AI Power Systems
HARTING Technology Group joined the NVIDIA MGX ecosystem to provide power whip cable assemblies for the Vera Rubin NVL72 AI platform.
HARTING Technology Group joined the NVIDIA MGX ecosystem as a power system component provider for the NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 platform. The company is supplying power whip cable assemblies that distribute power from buildings to compute racks, specifically supporting a transition from 480 VAC to a next-generation 800 VDC power architecture.
These infrastructure solutions are designed to meet the rising power demands and compute densities required by AI factories. The company will showcase these power whip solutions and participate in the NVIDIA MGX ceremony at the OCP Global Summit 2026.
Chairman and CEO Philip Harting stated that AI is fundamentally changing data center infrastructure and that the company possesses the engineering expertise to enable that transformation. Chief Technology Officer Christian Gysin noted that the industry must rethink power distribution from the ground up as rack densities increase, describing the move toward 800 VDC as a significant step in that evolution.
