Apple Launches Fourth-Generation Siri Remote With Find My Support
Apple released a fourth-generation Siri Remote for $59 featuring Precision Finding capabilities to help users locate the device via compatible iPhones.
Apple unveiled its fourth-generation Siri Remote, priced at $59, with deliveries scheduled to begin November 13. The updated hardware is compatible with all Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K models released since 2015.
The primary upgrade is the integration of full Find My support, including Precision Finding. This feature allows users to locate a missing remote using directional arrows on a compatible iPhone. To support this, the remote includes a built-in speaker that plays sounds when the device is being searched for.
Precision Finding requires an iPhone Duo, iPhone Air, or iPhone 17 or later, though the iPhone 17e is excluded from this capability. The remote maintains the same physical design, button layout, and USB-C charging port as the previous generation.
