US Ambassador Sergio Gor Visits Lalbaugcha Raja in Mumbai

United States Ambassador to India Sergio Gor visited the Lalbaugcha Raja pandal in Mumbai on Monday to offer prayers during the Ganesh Chaturthi festival. Gor described the experience as "absolutely incredible" and praised the site as a "vibrant expression of faith and community."

During his visit, Gor highlighted the energy of the celebrations and encouraged others to visit the site to experience its vibrancy. The visit took place during the 10-day festival honoring Lord Ganesha, which is celebrated across Maharashtra and is scheduled to conclude with Anant Chaturdashi on September 25.

The Lalbaugcha Raja idol is one of Mumbai's most iconic religious landmarks. It has been managed by the Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal since 1934 and has been maintained by the Kambli family for over 80 years, attracting massive crowds of devotees annually.
