Kohl's Appoints Ryan M. Waymire as Chief Merchandising Officer
Kohl's appointed former Walmart executive Ryan M. Waymire as Chief Merchandising Officer to modernize the company's product offering and merchandise strategy.
Kohl's appointed Ryan M. Waymire as Chief Merchandising Officer, effective September 28. Waymire will oversee the company's merchandise strategy, including product design, buying, sourcing, and omnichannel merchandising, reporting directly to CEO Michael J. Bender.
Waymire joins the company from Walmart U.S., where he served as Senior Vice President of Fashion. He brings 25 years of retail experience, including previous leadership roles at Amazon, Target, Wayfair, and FabFitFun.
Waymire replaces Nick Jones, who has held the position since 2023. The company did not provide specific details regarding the departure of Jones. CEO Michael J. Bender stated that Waymire will work with merchandising teams to modernize the overall product offering with customers at the center of all decisions.
