JD Vance Visits Michigan Ahead of Midterm Elections
Vice President JD Vance is visiting Michigan for a rally and town hall to support Republican candidates in a key battleground state.
Vice President JD Vance is returning to Michigan for two campaign events ahead of the November midterm elections. On Thursday, Vance will speak at 12 p.m. during a rally hosted by the Trump 47 Committee at the LevelUp Training Complex in Monroe.
Vance is also scheduled to participate in a CBS "Things That Matter" Town Hall this Saturday. During the event, he is expected to address the race for Congress, the war with Iran, the state of American democracy, and other issues affecting voters.
These visits occur as Michigan serves as a critical political battleground, particularly for the U.S. Senate race between Republican Mike Rogers and Democrat Abdul El-Sayed. Democratic efforts to mobilize voters include scheduled visits from former President Barack Obama, who will support El-Sayed on October 24, and former Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg, who is campaigning for Sean McCann in Kalamazoo.
