Haryana Signs Rs 66,000 Crore Investment MoUs in Mumbai

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini signed investment agreements totaling over Rs 66,000 crore during a two-day outreach campaign in Mumbai to attract global capital.

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini led a high-level investment outreach programme in Mumbai on August 23 and 24, 2026, resulting in the signing of Memorandums of Understanding totaling over Rs 66,000 crore. The campaign, titled Happening Haryana 2.0, serves as a precursor to the Happening Haryana Global Investors Summit scheduled for April 2027.

During the visit, Saini engaged in an Investors Meet and roundtable discussions with private equity and venture capital representatives. He promoted investment in semiconductors, artificial intelligence, electric vehicles, data centres, pharmaceuticals, and green energy. Saini noted that the state has received initial investment intentions exceeding Rs 1.10 lakh crore, supported by 11 new sectoral policies and a digitised single-window clearance system.

To attract further capital, Saini offered investors five guarantees, including policy stability and time-bound approvals. He detailed the Haryana Vision Document-2047, which targets an economy exceeding US$1 trillion through district-specific industrial clusters. The strategy designates North Haryana for pharmaceuticals, Central Haryana for automobiles, South Haryana for IT, and Western Haryana for renewable energy.

While in Mumbai, Saini also met with Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to discuss mutual interests, including the development of a valour memorial at Kala Amb.
