Russian Forces Encircle Ukrainian Hub in Dobropolye
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the encirclement of Dobropolye and an advance toward Aleksandrovka to cut off Ukrainian supply lines in the Donetsk region.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced on Tuesday that its Center group of forces completed the encirclement of Dobropolye, a major Ukrainian defensive hub in the Donetsk People's Republic. Russian troops are now advancing toward the settlement of Aleksandrovka to target one of the final remaining supply arteries for Ukrainian forces in the area.
Russian officials stated that members of the 425th Separate Assault Regiment and Ukraine's 4th and 15th National Guard brigades are trapped within the town. The ministry confirmed that "operations are underway to eliminate" these forces. This maneuver is part of a larger strategic push toward the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration, a heavily fortified zone that has been under Ukrainian control for more than ten years.
In a separate development, Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev reported that a Ukrainian drone raid in the Samara Region killed one person and injured four others.
