Apple will host a product launch event in Los Angeles on October 28 to unveil a touchscreen MacBook Pro and other M6-powered hardware.
Apple Inc. will host a product launch event titled Pro and Tell on October 28, 2026, in Los Angeles. The event, scheduled for 10 a.m. PT, is expected to headline the company's first-ever touchscreen MacBook Pro. This redesigned laptop is reported to feature an OLED display, a thinner and lighter chassis, and a Dynamic Island, utilizing M5 Pro and M5 Max chips.
Other anticipated announcements include an M6-powered 14-inch MacBook Pro and a new M6 iMac featuring Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6. Apple is also expected to reveal an updated iPad mini equipped with an OLED screen and a landscape-oriented front camera. While some reports suggest a new MacBook Ultra branding, others indicate the OLED models will remain part of the MacBook Pro lineup. Retail availability for these devices is expected to begin November 6.
This event marks the first laptop launch for CEO John Ternus. The hardware rollout follows a recent series of releases, including the folding iPhone Duo, which becomes available in India on October 23, and the HomeView home hub. Additionally, Apple confirmed a 512GB unified memory configuration for the Mac Studio will be available by the end of October.
