Nvidia Raises AI GPU Prices by Up to 60 Percent

Nvidia Corp has notified customers of significant price increases for its artificial intelligence hardware, citing rising memory costs. High-end computing cards and RTX PRO-series GPUs will see price hikes between 40 and 60 percent. Additionally, some AI server systems shipped early next year, including those utilizing Grace Blackwell and Vera Rubin chips, are expected to increase in price by more than 15 percent.

Leadtek Research Inc, an authorized reseller of Nvidia products, expects the price hikes to have a limited immediate impact because its existing inventory can satisfy demand through October. Leadtek reported strong second-quarter financial growth with revenue reaching NT$2.5 billion and projects that full-year revenue could double from the NT$4.44 billion recorded last year.

While China remains Leadtek's largest market, the reseller is targeting growth in South Korea and Vietnam. This expansion is driven by government-led AI and security projects in those regions.
