Petrobras Awards Three-Year Subsea Maintenance Contract to Intermoor

Petrobras awarded a three-year contract to Intermoor, the Moorings and Anchors business line of Acteon, to manage the inspection, preservation, and operational readiness of subsea interconnection and anchoring materials. This agreement marks the third contract Intermoor has secured from the state-controlled energy company in less than one year.

The scope of work involves non-destructive testing, cleaning, painting, and repairing critical components including anchors, steel wire ropes, and chains to ensure asset integrity for offshore operations in Brazil. As part of the deal, Intermoor will dedicate 20,000 square meters of its yard at Açu Port for the temporary storage of Petrobras materials.

Marcos Passos, General Manager of Intermoor do Brasil, stated that the award demonstrates the trust placed in their local team and their capacity to deliver services across complex offshore assets. The partnership is intended to increase operational certainty across the extensive subsea infrastructure portfolio of Petrobras.
