Chime Raises 2026 Revenue Growth Forecast to 28%
Chime raised its full-year revenue growth forecast to 28% after reporting third-quarter revenue of $718 million driven by resilient consumer spending.
Fintech firm Chime raised its full-year revenue growth forecast for 2026 to 28%, surpassing Wall Street estimates of 26.6%. The company reported third-quarter revenue of $718 million, representing a 32% increase over the previous year, and projected fourth-quarter revenue to fall between $757 million and $767 million.
Chime attributes this growth to resilient consumer spending despite inflationary pressures and higher oil prices linked to the U.S. war with Iran. The company identified households earning $75,000 or more as its fastest-growing customer segment. Following the announcement, Chime shares rose nearly 5.8% to $31.6 in after-hours trading.
President and interim CFO Mark Troughton noted that while consumers express concerns about affordability, they remain confident in their spending. He observed that customers are shifting spending patterns toward entertainment and public transportation to offset rising gasoline costs.
