Oman Condemns Military Attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain

The Government of Oman issued a series of diplomatic condemnations following military attacks targeting the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain. On June 1, 2026, Oman first expressed solidarity with Kuwait after a hostile act directed at the state, supporting all measures the Kuwaiti government took to maintain national security.

By June 4, the Omani Foreign Ministry expanded its condemnation to include attacks on Bahrain. The government denounced the targeting of civilian and vital facilities, labeling such actions as violations of international law that threaten the stability of the region. Throughout the crisis, Oman rejected all provocative military actions that threaten national sovereignty.

Omani officials have repeatedly urged regional actors to exercise restraint. The Sultanate called for increased diplomatic efforts and negotiations to resolve disputes and prevent a wider confrontation in the region.
