Jamie Dimon Launches Alliance to Combat AI Cyber Risks
JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon formed the Alliance for Critical Infrastructure to protect U.S. lifeline industries from systemic cyber risks amplified by Mythos.
Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase, announced the creation of the Alliance for Critical Infrastructure to address systemic cyber vulnerabilities. Dimon stated that the emergence of Mythos has increased these risks tenfold and identified cyber risk as the single greatest threat facing the bank.
The new coalition consists of 50 companies across six sectors in the United States, including financial services, technology, transport, and water. Dimon noted that while AI provides benefits for safety and medicine, it has introduced previously unknown vulnerabilities.
The alliance aims to protect lifeline industries and intends to expand its membership to include the agriculture, pharmaceutical, and healthcare sectors. The initiative will also provide support to smaller companies that manage diverse vendor needs.
