Saudi-led Coalition Deploys 100 Jets in Yemen Operation
A Saudi-led coalition launched operation Dawn of Yemen, deploying 100 fighter jets to support government forces in seizing the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
A Saudi-led coalition launched a military operation titled Dawn of Yemen, deploying 100 fighter jets to target Houthi forces. The coalition reported the destruction of 324 high-value targets and provided continuous air support to Yemeni government forces operating on the ground.
Supported by this air campaign, Yemeni government forces—including the Southern Giants Brigades and National Shield Forces—seized control of the strategic Bab el-Mandeb Strait and Dhubab airport. Lieutenant Colonel Majid Abdullah al-Nuzayli, a Yemeni military spokesman, announced the capture of these strategic locations.
Government troops further expanded their control by cutting the road between Dhubab and Mocha to establish fire control over the route. The operation focused on securing the Bab el-Mandeb Strait and targeting moving assets to stabilize the region.
