ASUS Republic of Gamers opened pre-orders for the ROG XBOX Ally X20, a premium handheld gaming PC scheduled for release on October 15, 2026. Launched to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the ROG brand, the device features a translucent black chassis with gold internal accents and a 7.4-inch OLED Nebula HDR display.
The handheld is powered by an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor and introduces several hardware upgrades over the previous Ally X. These include TMR magnetic induction joysticks, a Transforming D-pad designed for fighting games, a redesigned PCB for better thermal efficiency, and a microSD Express card reader.
Customers can purchase the device as a standalone unit or as part of a collector's bundle. The bundle includes ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 Gaming AR glasses, a dbrand Killswitch case, and a Pelican Protector Case. In the United States, the standalone model is priced at $1,299.99 and the bundle at $2,499.99. Canadian pricing is C$1,899 for the standalone and C$3,499 for the bundle.
Pre-orders are currently available through Best Buy and the ASUS Store. Canadian customers can pre-order through the ASUS Store starting September 24.
