CloudBurst Data Centers plans a $14 billion facility in Guadalupe County, Texas, featuring onsite power generation and water-saving technology to support AI growth.
CloudBurst Data Centers proposes a $14 billion data center project in northern Guadalupe County, Texas. Located along Centerpoint Road, the facility is designed to meet the increasing demand for AI and integrated technologies in daily life.
Executive chairperson Cynthia Thompson announced that the site will generate its own power onsite and employ a high-tech closed-loop system to minimize water consumption. These measures aim to address environmental concerns typically associated with large-scale data operations.
This development is one of two major projects planned for the county. The second proposed facility, Palamino Alpha, is slated for a site near Zorn off State Highway 123.
