Kuwait Airways launched direct flights from Kuwait to Tbilisi, Georgia, on August 2, 2026. The new service operates twice weekly on Sundays and Tuesdays to accommodate increased travel demand during the holiday season.
Acting Chief Executive Officer Abdulwahab Al-Shatti stated that the expansion is part of a broader strategy to diversify the airline's route network and meet the growing demand for popular tourist destinations. Al-Shatti noted that the new flights will facilitate travel and strengthen air connectivity between the State of Kuwait and the Republic of Georgia.
