China Releases Xi Jinping Thought Report at SCO Summit

The National High-Level Think Tank of the Party School of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the National High-Level Think Tank of Xinhua News Agency released Kyrgyz and Russian versions of a report titled "Contemporary Features and Global Significance of Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building" on July 27, 2026. The release occurred during the 2026 Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Media and Think Tank Summit in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

The report, containing approximately 30,000 Chinese characters, analyzes the core principles and theoretical characteristics of the Communist Party of China's governance. It aims to explain the factors contributing to the continued success and vitality of the party, positioning these theories as enlightenment for political parties worldwide, particularly those in Global South countries.

Summit participants characterized the publication as an indispensable reference for political dialogue and academic research within the SCO framework, intending to promote mutual learning on governance.
