Gatik AI Inc. Raises $200 Million to Scale Autonomous Freight

Gatik AI Inc. raised $200 million in Series D funding to expand its driverless middle-mile delivery operations for major retail and consumer goods companies.

Autonomous trucking startup Gatik AI Inc. raised $200 million in Series D financing on August 25, 2026, marking its largest funding round to date and bringing its total capital raised to approximately $500 million. The round was led by the Qatar Investment Authority and Koch Disruptive Technologies, LLC, with participation from Millennium Management, ARK Invest, and Intact Private Capital, the latter of which tripled its commitment to the company.

Based in Santa Clara, California, the company specializes in middle-mile short-haul delivery using driverless Isuzu Motors box trucks. Gatik AI Inc. has completed 85,000 fully driverless orders with a 99% on-time delivery rate and reports more than $600 million in contracted revenue. Current operations include a fleet of 41 driverless trucks for PepsiCo, Inc. transporting Frito-Lay products, as well as services for Walmart Inc., Kroger Co., Tyson Foods Inc., and Loblaw Cos. across Texas, Arizona, Arkansas, and Ontario.

CEO Gautam Narang stated the capital will be used to expand routes, acquire new business in existing regions, and grow the company's 350-person workforce. Narang noted that the investment is a "clear validation of Gatik’s commercial leadership in autonomous freight" and emphasized that the company is now focused on scaling a proven business rather than building one. The company's third-generation technology enables fully driverless operations on surface streets and highways in various weather conditions, including light rain and snow.
