Nebius Secures $27 Billion AI Infrastructure Deal With Meta
Nebius Group signed a $27 billion agreement to provide AI computing capacity to Meta Platforms and announced a $3.75 billion fundraising round for data center expansion.
Nebius Group signed a five-year agreement with Meta Platforms Inc. to provide AI computing capacity valued at up to $27 billion. The deal guarantees $12 billion in dedicated capacity starting in early 2027, with Meta holding an option to purchase an additional $15 billion in available capacity. This infrastructure will utilize Nvidia's next-generation Vera Rubin platform. The agreement follows a previous $3 billion deal between the two firms and a separate $19.4 billion deal with Microsoft for GPU infrastructure in Vineland, New Jersey.
To support this growth, Nvidia invested $2 billion in Nebius for an 8.3% stake, aiding a target of 5 gigawatts of data center capacity by 2030. On March 17, 2026, Nebius announced a private offering of $3.75 billion in convertible senior notes to fund GPU procurement and the expansion of its data center footprint from seven to 16 locations by the end of 2026.
Financial results show Nebius experienced a 547% year-over-year revenue increase to $228 million in Q4 2025, despite a net loss of approximately $250 million. The company targets an annual revenue run rate of $7 billion to $9 billion by the end of 2026. Market reaction was mixed; shares initially surged nearly 15% on the Meta news but fell approximately 12% following the convertible notes announcement.
