Hoth Therapeutics Ends HT-001 Trial Early on Strong Results

Hoth Therapeutics ended its Phase 2a clinical trial of HT-001 early after interim data showed strong efficacy. The investigational topical formulation of aprepitant treats dermatologic toxicities caused by epidermal growth factor receptor inhibitor cancer therapies, which frequently cause patients to interrupt their treatment.

The biotechnology subsidiary of Rocket One Inc. is now preparing to present its findings to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to determine the requirements for a potential Phase 3 clinical program. Following the announcement, shares of Rocket One Inc. rose 10% to 49.42 cents.
