The Government of China launched the Fourth China International Supply Chain Expo in Beijing on June 22, 2026. Themed "Connecting the World for a Shared Future," the event attracted 676 companies and institutions from 85 countries and regions. Organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the expo focuses on six thematic chains: Digital Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, Green Agriculture, Healthy Life, Smart Vehicles, and Clean Energy.

During the opening ceremony, CCPIT Chairman Ren Hongbin released the Beijing Initiative, which calls for increased industrial resilience, digital transformation, and green development. A primary highlight is the upgraded Intelligent Digital Technology Chain, which features a new artificial intelligence zone comprising 228 companies from 11 countries. Global technology firms including Nvidia, Apple, and Intel are showcasing AI stacks and smart manufacturing, while Chinese leaders like Alibaba and iFlytek are demonstrating foundation models.

The expo serves as a strategic platform for international collaboration amid rising protectionism and geopolitical uncertainty. Australia served as the first national-level guest country of honor, while representatives from Serbia, Thailand, Türkiye, and the United States attended to strengthen trade partnerships. Participants from Kazakhstan and Egypt specifically utilized the event to explore localized manufacturing and logistics cooperation, emphasizing the role of the expo in stabilizing global supply chains.
