Pakistan Security Forces Kill 12 Terrorists in Balochistan Operations

Pakistan security forces killed 12 militants and destroyed a hideout during two intelligence-based operations in the Washuk and Mastung districts of Balochistan.

Security forces in Pakistan killed 12 terrorists during two intelligence-based operations conducted on August 5 and 6 in the Balochistan province. Six militants were killed in the Washuk district on August 5, followed by the deaths of another six militants and the destruction of a terrorist hideout in the Mastung district on August 6.

The Inter-Services Public Relations identified these actions as part of the Rad-ul-Fitna-3 campaign. This specific operation targets Fitna Al Hindustan, a group the federal government designates as a proxy for India.

These raids were carried out under the Azm-e-Istehkam initiative, which was approved by the Federal Apex Committee. The initiative is part of a broader National Action Plan designed to eliminate foreign-sponsored terrorism within the country.
