GCC Condemns Iranian Attacks on Kuwait's Bubiyan Island

Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, condemned attacks launched by Iran against a government facility and private company civilian equipment on Bubiyan Island in Kuwait.

Albudaiwi characterized the strikes as a "blatant assault" and a "flagrant violation" of the sovereignty of Kuwait. He asserted that these actions represent a continuation of Iran's hostile approach toward destabilizing security and stability across the region, describing the attacks as a grave violation of international law and the United Nations Charter.

The Gulf Cooperation Council expressed full solidarity with Kuwait and stated its support for all measures the state takes to maintain its security and territorial integrity.
