Mivi Launches Mivi One 5G Smartphone in India

Indian consumer technology brand Mivi has entered the smartphone market with the launch of the Mivi One 5G. Manufactured locally in India, the device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip and features a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 6,000 mAh battery with 18W charging, and a 50MP dual rear camera. The phone runs on Android 16, and the company has committed to software updates through Android 18.

The device includes a proprietary noise-suppression feature called Mivi ClearTalk. It will be sold exclusively through Flipkart starting October 8, 2026, to coincide with the Big Billion Days sale. Pricing is set between ₹14,999 for the 4GB RAM variant and ₹16,999 for the 8GB RAM variant, with bank offers potentially reducing the effective price to ₹11,999. Active Jio customers will receive additional subscriptions to Google Gemini Pro, Hotstar, and Canva Pro.

Mivi executives stated the launch is a milestone for the brand, with plans to expand its smartphone portfolio and deliver a fully indigenously engineered device within 12 months. Saurabh Arora of Qualcomm India noted that the entry of a homegrown brand contributes to innovation and consumer choice within the Indian technology ecosystem.
