Hudson Valley Residents Organize Unity Walk and Debate NY-21 Candidates

Residents of the Hudson Valley are organizing a nonpartisan unity demonstration titled Hands Across the Hudson to mark the 250th anniversary of the United States. The event is scheduled for August 30 on the Walkway Over the Hudson in Highland.

Simultaneously, voters in New York's Congressional District NY-21 are debating the merits of candidates Blake Gendebien and Anthony Constantino. Gendebien, a farmer and businessman, has seen his supporters criticize Constantino for adhering to the political agenda of Donald Trump.

Campaign tensions have escalated with allegations that Constantino utilized artificial intelligence to conduct campaign smear tactics. These local political disputes coincide with the broader regional effort to promote unity through the upcoming anniversary demonstration.
