Solidigm Plans US IPO to Raise $10 Billion

Solidigm, the flash memory unit of SK Hynix, has selected Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley to lead a planned US initial public offering by 2027.

Solidigm, the flash memory unit of SK Hynix, has selected Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley as lead banks for a planned initial public offering in the United States. The offering, expected as soon as 2027, aims to raise approximately $10 billion and could value the company at up to $100 billion.

JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup, and UBS Group have also been tapped to participate in the IPO. The company is currently working with lead lenders to finalize a pre-IPO funding round. Solidigm was formed after SK Hynix acquired Intel's flash memory business in 2021 and now focuses on high-capacity drives for AI data centers, serving clients such as CoreWeave, Dell Technologies, and Tencent.

A spokesperson for SK Hynix stated that Solidigm is reviewing options to strengthen business competitiveness, though the company has not confirmed specific plans.
