Block Raises 2026 Profit Guidance Following Strong Q2 Earnings

Block raised its full-year 2026 adjusted profit guidance to $4.02 per share after reporting second-quarter revenue of $6.62 billion.

Block Inc. raised its full-year 2026 adjusted profit guidance to $4.02 per share, increasing the previous estimate of $3.85. The company reported second-quarter 2026 adjusted earnings of $1.02 per share on $6.62 billion in revenue, surpassing analyst expectations.

Financial growth was supported by resilient consumer spending and a 17% year-over-year increase in Cash App commerce enablement volume. The company also scaled its Neighborhoods loyalty program, which as of June reached sellers representing $1 billion in annualized gross payment volume.

Despite the growth and a Q3 profit forecast of $1.02 per share, some market analysts expressed disappointment that the full-year guidance was not increased more aggressively. This follows a period of cost reduction in February when co-founder Jack Dorsey announced over 4,000 job cuts to lower expenses.
