Bulgaria will host the Eurovision Song Contest 2027 in Burgas following the victory of artist DARA at the 2026 competition.
Bulgaria will host the Eurovision Song Contest 2027 for the first time following the victory of the artist DARA and the song Bangaranga at the 2026 contest. The Grand Final is scheduled for May 15, 2027, at Arena Burgas.
President Rumen Radev endorsed the selection of Burgas, stating that an international expert committee chose the city over other bids, including Sofia, because of its accommodation capacity and venue potential.
GERB leader Boyko Borissov congratulated Mayor Dimitar Nikolov and the city of Burgas. Borissov urged political unity and cooperation between the administrations of Burgas, Sofia, Plovdiv, and Varna to ensure the event presents a positive international image of the country.
