Sonos Launches Beam Ultra Soundbar and Ace Ultra Headphones

Sonos Inc. released two new audio products on Tuesday, the Beam Ultra soundbar priced at $699 and the Ace Ultra headphones priced at $449. The hardware launches follow a period of software instability in 2024 and mark a strategic pivot under Chief Executive Officer Tom Conrad to position the company as a comprehensive home audio system provider rather than a standalone speaker brand.

In addition to the new hardware, the company unveiled the Sonos 27 operating system update. This software update introduces artificial intelligence capabilities and a smarter voice assistant, though these specific features are not available immediately and are scheduled for release later this fall.
