Ema Raises $77 Million to Scale Agentic AI Employees
AI startup Ema raised $77 million in Series B funding to expand its autonomous enterprise agents and reduce corporate reliance on traditional SaaS applications.
AI startup Ema raised $77 million in a Series B funding round led by Creaegis, bringing its total funding to $140 million. The Mountain View-based company has more than quadrupled its valuation since 2024, with existing investors Accel, Section 32, and Prosus also increasing their stakes.
Ema provides a platform of agentic AI employees that automate multi-step business processes in finance, IT, and HR. CEO Surojit Chatterjee stated that the company has grown revenue 50-fold over the last 24 months, with revenue bookings exceeding $150 million. The platform currently serves over 1 million active enterprise users, including ADP, Hitachi, and PwC.
Chatterjee intends to shift corporate focus away from seat-based pricing and traditional SaaS applications, which he argues are becoming like databases. The company will use the new capital to scale go-to-market operations and expand its presence into the Middle East, South America, and Asia-Pacific.
