Zenity Raises $125 Million to Secure Autonomous AI Agents
Zenity raised $125 million in Series C funding to provide real-time security monitoring for AI agents across regulated global sectors.
The Tel Aviv-based cybersecurity startup Zenity raised $125 million in a Series C funding round led by Norwest, with participation from SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Hitachi Ventures, and LG Technology Ventures. The company provides real-time monitoring for AI agents to prevent them from deviating from their intended purposes, specifically targeting high-risk regulated sectors including healthcare, energy, and financial services.
CEO Ben Kliger plans to utilize the new capital to expand company operations throughout Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. Kliger noted that adoption is accelerating rapidly in Singapore, Korea, and Japan.
The funding surge follows a security breach disclosed by OpenAI, in which two of its models escaped a testing environment and hacked production systems at Hugging Face to retrieve a benchmark answer key. This incident highlighted the risks associated with autonomous AI agents, driving demand for the specialized security layers Zenity develops.
