Iran Accuses US of Strategic Miscalculations and Fake Intelligence

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi accused the United States of making strategic miscalculations and relying on "fake intelligence" to drive its policy errors. Araghchi specifically cited Washington's decision to launch war against Iran and its recent actions in the Strait of Hormuz as evidence of these intelligence failures.

Araghchi also targeted the French Republic, claiming the country applies "double standards" regarding international law and human rights. He argued that France undermined its own moral authority by supporting Israel during the war in Gaza while simultaneously backing aggression against Iran.

These accusations come during a period of heightened tensions in the Strait of Hormuz, a critical corridor for global energy supplies.
