Pluto Security Raises $42 Million to Secure Enterprise AI
Pluto Security emerged from stealth with $42 million in funding to monitor and secure AI agents and apps within enterprise environments.
Pluto Security emerged from stealth with $42 million in total funding to address security vulnerabilities caused by the rapid enterprise adoption of AI tools. The cybersecurity startup raised an $8.5 million seed round led by TLV Partners and a $34 million Series A led by Jump Capital.
The company's software monitors AI agents, extensions, and applications created by non-developers—often referred to as vibe-coded apps—specifically within legal, marketing, and finance departments. The platform identifies risky components and intervenes in real-time if an agent attempts an unauthorized action. CEO Shahar Bahat noted that the company is shifting its focus from user behavior to agent behavior, stating that there was not one proof of concept in which the company entered and did not find malicious components.
Since starting sales in April, Pluto Security has surpassed $2 million in annual recurring revenue and secured more than 30 enterprise customers, including Workato and Oscar Health. The company intends to use the new capital to expand its security research, develop its product, and grow its operations in Israel and the United States.
